You’re supposed to do something with AI — but what?

Be it quotes, service or special cases — everything depends on a few people.
We make this know-how usable for everyone.

We take your company’s knowledge out of people’s heads, emails and folders, organise and verify it — with a source for every statement — and build AI applications on it that take work off your hands: quotations, support answers, work instructions. So work no longer waits for one person.

Our services in detail

Why Cassel AI?

Because someone here knows from experience
how production works.

From the industry, for the industry

Cord Cassel spent thirty years running a manufacturer of measurement technology himself — which is why we work exclusively for manufacturers of industrial equipment.

Everything from a single source

Preparing knowledge, setting up the platform, developing applications, bringing your people on board. Others offer only parts of this — we offer all of it.

Binding, not guessed

In the knowledge base we build, rules set by your experts decide what applies — not the AI. Every statement names its source.

Frequently asked questions

Eight questions that come up beforehand

How are you different from other AI consultancies?

We sell neither a tool nor a strategy on paper. We combine three things that only work together: your company’s verified knowledge, Langdock as the AI platform for the whole company, and your people, who can work with it. The entry is small and billed in full. From the first application, you pay half only once it is used — not when it is delivered.

Why not just ChatGPT, Copilot or our own company AI?

These tools are the container; what is missing is the content. Even a Copilot that searches your files finds old versions next to current ones and does not know which one applies. A specialist still has to check the answer — the bottleneck remains. We first prepare your company’s knowledge: verified, with a source for every statement, supplemented by what your experienced people carry in their heads. The applications work on this basis. The verified knowledge is connected so that other programs can read it too.

What is Langdock, why not just Copilot, and who pays the licence?
Langdock comes from a German provider and is not tied to Microsoft 365: you choose freely which AI models your people work with. Copilot searches everything an employee can access in your Microsoft environment — so sharing and permissions usually have to be cleaned up first. In Langdock we use a few roles to set who may do what and which documents the AI sees. You conclude the contract and licences directly with Langdock; they remain yours even if our cooperation ends.
Our data is a mess — are we even ready?

That is the usual starting point, not an obstacle. It begins with an assessment that establishes where your knowledge stands today — you do not have to sort it beforehand. Your knowledge is built from what is already written down somewhere in your company.

How much time will this cost my experienced people?

Not none — but we do the preparation. We need your experts for conversations along real cases. We propose what needs checking afterwards. Much of it we compare against your existing documents and data; your experts only see what is still open. How much time that means for you is set by the initial assessment. And your people get something back early: search in your verified knowledge is available as soon as the first department has been checked.

Do we need an IT department or our own AI people for this?

Not your own AI department. You license Langdock yourself; a later knowledge base sits in your Microsoft Azure account. Both belong to you — we set them up and look after them, and your IT decides on access and approvals.

How does this relate to the GDPR and the EU AI Act?

Control stays with you: your own environment, your own contracts, access for us only as long as you grant it. Your data is stored in the EU: Langdock runs its platform there, we only approve AI models that run in the EU, and the knowledge base sits in an EU region of your own Microsoft Azure account. Your inputs are not used to train AI models — that is what the terms of Langdock and Microsoft say, and you conclude those contracts directly. Before data is taken over, you receive a written statement: which sources are connected and which are not, what is logged, what happens to inputs and who processes data. The works council and the data protection officer can check it without us. This describes our approach and does not replace legal advice for your company.

What does this mean for our employees and the works council?
The goal is growth, not job cuts — we recommend committing to this in writing before the start. Nothing is ever measured per person, and the works council is involved before the start.
