Why Cassel AI?
Trust between manufacturers
Here you will find out who you will be working with, what sets us apart from other providers and how you can check our work yourself.
Who is behind it
Manufacturers, not consultants

Cord Cassel · Founder
Cord Cassel built CASSEL Messtechnik from a garage into a manufacturer of metal detectors and X-ray inspection systems supplying customers worldwide, and ran it. In 2020 the company was sold to the TASI Group, a US group of measurement and automation companies. As managing director, he saw for himself how growth gets stuck on the capacity of a few experts: in quotations, in service, in knowledge held in individual heads. In your company, he is responsible for the concept and the preparation of your knowledge, and sets up Langdock.
“Anyone who has run a company knows which process really counts and which exception defines it. Mapping that correctly is the part no software does for you.”
Spencer Robens · Business psychologist
Spencer Robens makes sure your people actually work with the AI: he involves the workforce, trains them and leads the conversations in which your experts pass on their knowledge. He brings a high degree of empathy, a fine sense of what matters to experienced colleagues — and the ability to see through technical relationships and explain them from the perspective of those who work with them.
“Many AI projects fail not on the technology but because experienced people see the new system as doubting their work. So we involve your staff from the start, support them throughout and make sure they always feel heard.”
What makes us different
We know how you work
We specialise in mid-sized manufacturers of industrial equipment because our founder, Cord Cassel, spent over thirty years as managing director of such a company. He knows the problems and the opportunities for growth.
What we understand:
- Quotations grow out of earlier projects, not out of a catalogue.
- Knowledge sits with a few experienced people, not in a system.
- Service looks after machines across several generations.
- Development cycles are long; exceptions are the rule.
What we do differently
Others deliver one part. We stand behind the whole chain

Why it works
Our results are checked, not guessed
The knowledge base is built so that answers come only from your own verified data — with a source for every statement, so you can check it.
When asked for information
Without a knowledge base
A language model answers as best it can, based on the prompt, the given context and its training data.
With a knowledge base
Answers come only from your verified data and knowledge. The AI knows your company and its entire order history.
When information is missing
Without a knowledge base
The model fills the gap itself. What it adds cannot be recognised as an addition — and is not always correct.
With a knowledge base
Built so that the answer names a gap instead of filling it from general model knowledge.
Old versions
Without a knowledge base
The model also uses outdated data and does not recognise it as such.
With a knowledge base
Superseded material is marked and excluded before every search. Only those who ask for it get the earlier version.
Source of information
Without a knowledge base
Your prompt, the given context, its training data and the internet
With a knowledge base
Your company data, expert knowledge and company history
